Executive Jan Gardner today presented her Fiscal Year
2019 proposed budget with an emphasis on maintaining world-class schools,
safe communities and serving people. For the fourth year in a row, the budget
holds the line on taxes, with no increase to income or property tax rates.
“The budget is lean, sensible, balanced
and fiscally responsible,” Executive Gardner said. “The budget shapes our
future as defined by community priorities and values. It delivers results –
exceptional schools, safe communities, a vibrant economy, and a high quality of
life.”
