[ARCHIVED] 7/24 - National Weather Service Flash Flood Watch in Effect until July 25, 6:00 pm

Turn Around Dont Drown

Through Wednesday afternoon
* Showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage  and intensity. This pattern will remain in place through Wednesday, with multiple rounds of torrential rainfall  possible. Given saturated soil from this weekend`s rainfall,  repetitive heavy rain may result in flash flooding.

* Urban areas, locations along small streams and creeks, and  poor drainage areas are most vulnerable to flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
Monitor forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
