County Executive Jan Gardner today unveiled plans to encourage the establishment of a detoxification center in Frederick County, which would fill an unmet need in treatment and services for those struggling with addiction.
“Recovery is a long and difficult journey. We can help those on that journey by making treatment and services available in our community," said Executive Gardner. “Every day, a person overdoses in Frederick County. We can’t delay. The time is now.”
