[ARCHIVED] National Weather Service Flash Flood Watch in Effect until July 12, 2:00 a.m.

Flooding - Steer Clear of Flooded Roads

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...
Showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and  evening. Torrential rainfall may lead to totals exceeding 2  inches in a short period of time. Isolated locations may receive  3 or 4 inches.  This may cause flash flooding of small streams  and other poor drainage urban areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

When you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around, don't drown.
