Handboard Road Will Be Closed To Traffic
FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering announced today that Handboard Road will be closed between Green Valley Road (MD 75) and Bunker Hill Road on or about September 28, 2020. This will allow contractor Botanica Enterprises, Inc., to reconstruct a deteriorated roadway retaining wall.
The work is scheduled to last approximately 2 weeks until October 12, 2020, weather permitting. A signed detour route will be in place during the road closure, and will utilize a combination of Green Valley Road (MD 75), Beaver Dam Road, Lackey Road, and Bunker Hill Road.
