FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Construction Inspection announced today that Stone Barn Drive between Shady Pines Drive and the last southwest entrance to Sugarloaf Elementary School will be closed on or about October 27, 2022. This closure will not affect any school entrances and will allow JHG Contractors, Inc. to perform the installation of a sewer pipeline to serve the new Goddard School on Stone Barn Drive. Detour signs will be placed along Stone Barn Drive, Flatwoods Drive, and Shady Pines Drive. The project is anticipated to last approximately two (2) months weather permitting. The work includes the removal of the existing water valve box and the installation of a new sewer pipeline.
