[ARCHIVED] Division of Animal Control Seeking Public’s Help to Identify Dog Owner

FREDERICK, Md. – The Frederick County Division of Animal Control is currently investigating the circumstances of a deceased female Pit Bull-type dog found in the Hillcrest neighborhood of Frederick. The deceased dog was found in a grassy common area behind Tillman Place and Arwell Court on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at approximately 9:32 a.m.  

Animal Control Officers are seeking the public’s help to identify the owner of the dog. The dog is an unspayed female Pit Bull-type dog, approximately three years old that is mostly white in color with a large tan patch around her right eye and a smaller tan patch near her left eye.   

Anyone with information related to the dog or the ongoing investigation is urged to contact Animal Control Officer Charlotte Branham or Sergeant Maggie Hill at 301-600-1544.
