FREDERICK, Md. – A section of Friends Creek Road near Emmitsburg will be closed for approximately two weeks to replace a pipe. The closure will be near the sharp bend, in front of 7301A, beginning Monday, July 14, weather permitting. The closure will remain in place overnight and a signed detour will be in place.
The closure will allow Frederick County’s Department of Highway Operations to replace the pipe and repair the pavement.
