[ARCHIVED] A Portion of Ridge Road to be Closed Daily Beginning September 8

FREDERICK, Md. – Ridge Road will be closed daily between U.S. 40A and Ridge Crest Drive on or about September 8, 2025 for approximately one week, weather permitting. This closure will be a day closure between 6:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A signed detour will be in place. 

The closure will allow the Frederick County Department of Highway Operations to replace a failing culvert pipe at 7031 Ridge Road. For additional information, contact Joe Sollenberger at 301-600-1573.
