[ARCHIVED] Public Invited to Attend and Provide Feedback at Community Housing Meetings

FREDERICK, MD – Members of the community are invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, September 24 or Thursday, September 25 to provide feedback on Frederick County’s Housing Study and Strategic Plan. The Division of Housing is hosting these open houses to share key data points and gather input from the community.

The Division of Housing hosted an initial open house on August 21 and is offering two additional meetings so more people throughout the county can learn about the initiative and share input.

“The open houses are yet another chance for the community to actively engage in the development of Frederick County’s Housing Study and Strategic Plan,” said Housing Director Vincent Rogers. “We are excited to share some of the data that has already been collected in our study, and to provide an opportunity for members of our community to interact with each other and our housing team.”

The upcoming open houses will have interactive stations where people can give feedback, learn about the Housing Strategic Plan, find community resources, and meet housing officials and organizations. Both meetings will have the same content, so people can attend either open house to learn more and offer comments.
