FREDERICK, Md. – Artie Kemp Road near Green Valley Road (MD 75) will have a one lane closure during daytime hours beginning on or about November 12. Traffic will be able to pass through the work zone under a flagging operation. Both lanes will be open to traffic when work is not taking place.
The project is anticipated to last approximately six months, weather permitting. The work includes stream relocation, maintenance of traffic, removal and installation of new guardrails, minor grading, drainage improvements, and erosion and sediment control. Drivers should anticipate some delays traveling through the project site.
