The State of Maryland will be closed on Friday, August 29 for a Service Reduction Day.
As a result, the following divisions at the Frederick County Health Department will be closed on this date: Administration (includes birth and death certificate services), Environmental Health, Community Health Services (includes WIC services), Behavioral Health Services, Public Health Preparedness, and Health Care Connection (includes health insurance enrollment services).
The Dental Program, Infant & Toddlers Program, Audiology Services, and the Scott Key Center will be open unless announced otherwise.
The entire Health Department will be closed on Monday, September 1, for the Labor Day holiday.
The Health Department will re-open on Tuesday, September 2.
