[ARCHIVED] Primary Election Results Will Be Available on Frederick County Website, FCG TV & Social Media

Citizens will receive Primary Election results from the Frederick County Board of Elections after voting locations close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, by:

• Visiting the Board of Elections website at www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/elections.

• Watching FCG TV, cable channel 19, or visiting www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/video to watch FCG TV on the Internet.

• Monitoring social media sites on Facebook: Frederick County, MD, and Frederick County Board of Elections, and on Twitter: @FrederickCoMD and @FrederickMDBOE.

• Joining citizens, reporters and candidates in the “Public Returns Center” to receive announcements from election officials. Opening at 7 p.m., the center will be located in the training room next to the Board of Elections offices at The Bourne Building, Suite 101, 355 Montevue Avenue, Frederick, Md.

The first results to be posted will be votes cast during Early Voting, which occurred between April 15 and 21. After that, additional results may not be posted for up to an hour or more later as polling place ballots throughout the county are counted by the Board of Elections.
Results reported on election night are considered “unofficial” until election officials certify all early voting, polling place, provisional and absentee ballots.

Frederick County Government offices will be open on April 26 and the Board of Elections will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at its offices in The Bourne Building.
