As her public information briefing this week, Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner will be joined by federal, state and local transportation partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the launch of five all-electric buses into the TransIT Services fleet. The ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, at TransIT Services headquarters, 1040 Rocky Springs Road, Frederick, Md.
The ceremony will be videotaped and broadcast at 7:00 p.m. the day of the event on FCG TV, cable channel 19, and on YouTube. The video will also be available on the county website at www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/video.
