County Executive Jan Gardner announced today that Chief Administrative Officer Douglas Browning will depart Frederick County Government as of June 10, 2016.
“We have been very blessed to have Doug’s exemplary knowledge and experience during our transition to Charter Government,” commented Executive Gardner. “He has been my right-hand man, entrusted with challenging projects and the supervision of our county directors. We wish him the very best as he departs his position in order to focus more fully on personal and family needs. He will still be available on a part-time basis to work on special projects.”
