The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering announced today that construction on the Northern Section of Boyers Mill Road (BMR) by Kinsley Construction, Inc. will start on or about April 3, 2017.
This Capital Improvement Program project will upgrade the corridor from its intersection with Gas House Pike to just north of the BMR Bridge Replacement Project’s limits to meet increasing traffic demands in the area. The roadway reconstruction will include the addition of paved shoulders for vehicle recovery, along with horizontal and vertical geometric improvements, addition of law enforcement pull-off areas, stormwater management improvements, and a roundabout at the BMR-Eaglehead Drive intersection.
