[ARCHIVED] Board of Elections Office to Relocate to 340A Montevue Lane

FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Board of Elections will relocate its offices to 340A Montevue Lane, Frederick, as of Monday, Dec. 18. The current office across the street at the Bourne Building will be closed to the public from Wednesday, Dec. 13, through Friday, Dec. 15.

The new location provides more space for the agency that conducts county, state and federal elections for Frederick County’s 169,000 registered voters.  In addition to conducting elections, the Board of Elections is responsible for registering voters, processing candidates’ filings, and maintaining registration records.  The building at 340A Montevue Lane also offers a dedicated board and training room.  Previously, the county’s 900 election judges were trained in a room shared by other government agencies.

Phone numbers and email addresses of Board of Elections employees will remain the same.

For additional information about the Board of Elections, contact Election Director Stuart Harvey at 301-600-1007 or email him at SHarvey@FrederickCountyMD.gov.  Visit www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/Elections for information about filing deadlines, voter registration, and important dates for the 2018 election cycle.
