Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner will hold a Town Hall to receive feedback on proposed transportation priorities she announced recently. The Town Hall will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, at Winchester Hall, 12 E. Church Street. For the first time, citizens who cannot attend in person are invited to participate on social media during the session.
“This is a great opportunity to make your voice heard,” said Executive Gardner. “Come out in person or online to join county and municipal leaders in improving our transportation network.”
The Town Hall will be streamed live on the Facebook page Frederick County Executive Jan H. Gardner (www.facebook.com/JanGardnerExec). Citizens are invited to submit questions or comments, which should be directly related to transportation, below the live feed. Or, they may post to Twitter using the hashtag #FredCoOntheGo.
Executive Gardner will respond to social media messages so that those attending in person or watching on Facebook may hear the answers. The Town Hall also will be broadcast on FCG TV, cable channel 19, and webcast at www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/video. Citizens may also e-mail comments to CountyExecutive@FrederickCountyMD.gov.
