County Executive Jan Gardner today signed Executive Order 03-2018 – Termination of Executive Order No. 02-2018 to end the Local State of Emergency she issued last week in response to the severe storms that impacted the county resulting in the flooding of streams and rivers, damaging the road network, straining water and wastewater systems and significantly disrupting local residents, businesses and industries.
“Our crews working to repair the damage from the storms and open the roads deserve our utmost thanks and appreciation,” commented Executive Gardner. “I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication of all of our employees who helped our citizens with the recovery efforts.”
