FREDERICK, MD – In support of the Towns of Middletown and Myersville, the Frederick County Division of Emergency Management will be conducting a live “Tornado Warning” test of the town’s community warning sirens on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at approximately noon.

Residents will hear an audible siren followed by a voice announcing “A tornado warning is in effect! Seek shelter now! Tune to your local TV station for further information. Seek shelter now!” Residents do not need to take any special action during the testing of the community warning siren.
Residents of Middletown should contact the Middletown Town Office at (301) 371-6171 with questions. Residents of Myersville should contact the Myersville Town Office at (301) 293-4281 with questions.
