FREDERICK, Md.- Frederick County residents who wish to register to vote in the November 3, 2020 Presidential General Election are reminded that the deadline for voter registration is 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. The same deadline applies to voters who are already registered and wish to make changes to their name, address, or party affiliation before the general election.
In order to become a registered voter and vote in this year’s election, individuals must be a U.S. citizen, live in Maryland, and be at least 18 years of age on or before November 3, 2020.
Voter registration applications may be obtained by going onto the State Board of Elections’ website at https://elections.maryland.gov/voter_registration/index.html.
Voters who miss the October 13 deadline may register and vote at either early voting or on election day. Election officials at the vote centers will assist you.
