Black Ankle Road Closed to Traffic
FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering announced today that Black Ankle Road will be closed between Buffalo Road and Talbot Run Road on or about June 15, 2022. This will allow our contractor, Triangle Contracting, LLC to repair and stabilize road embankments on two sections of Black Ankle Road.
The project is anticipated to last approximately three months, weather permitting. The work includes installation of imbricated riprap, minor grading, pavement repair, and erosion and sediment control.
A signed detour route will be in place during the road closure. The detour will utilize Buffalo Road, Harrisville Road and Talbot Run Road.
