FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Office of Construction Inspection announced today that the cul-de-sac turn-around area on Cherry Tree Court, north of Panorama Drive will be closed on or about September 9, 2022. This will allow the Division of Water and Sewer Utilities to perform upgrades to the existing sanitary sewer line on Cherry Tree Court and Country Club Road. During construction, Country Club Road will have one lane closed.
The project is anticipated to last approximately nine months, weather permitting. The work includes excavation of a portion of the turnaround area on Cherry Tree Court and approximately 200’ of Country Club Road to access and upgrade the existing Sanitary Sewer line.
Access to private property on Cherry Tree Court will not be affected by the closure. The cul-de-sac area will not be available to the public for turning around.
