FREDERICK, MD – The Frederick County Traffic and Permit Section announced today that Bidle Road will be effectively closed by construction work on Walnut Street in Middletown. The work is expected to begin on or about October 10 and last two days. The closure will be in effect during the hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bidle Road and Walnut Street will be open to traffic overnight.
This closure will allow a developer to install new utility service to an adjacent property. Detour signs will be placed along West Main Street, US Alternate 40/Old National Pike, Marker Road, and Picnic Woods Road.
