CAC Executive Board

Child Advocacy Center community partners work together to prevent and heal child abuse through community education, investigation, prosecution, advocacy, and medical and counseling services.  Community partners are represented on the CAC Executive Board, providing guidance to the Director of the CAC and crafting the policies and procedures that guide this multidisciplinary approach.  The goal of this collaboration is to increase the effectiveness of our response to child maltreatment in Frederick County and to prevent further traumatization of affected children.

The CAC Executive Board is comprised of seven voting members representing the Department of Social Services, State’s Attorney’s Office, Frederick Police Department, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Frederick Memorial Hospital, Maryland State Police, and Frederick County Government.  Non-voting stakeholders on the Board represent Frederick County Public Schools, Heartly House, and the Friends of the CAC.
