Thank you for your interest in a volunteer opportunity with Family Partnership of Frederick County (FPFC)! We look forward to exploring this opportunity with you. Please review the enclosed material for an overview of FPFC and the volunteer opportunities that may be available.
As one of Maryland’s Exemplary Family Education and Support Centers, FPFC provides intergenerational learning opportunities for families with expectant parents and/or children aged 3 and under. Our mission is to empower individuals and families of diverse backgrounds to be stable and self-reliant by building on their strengths and skills.
There are many disciplines at work at Family Partnership – Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Business Management, Adult Education, Marketing, Computer Science, Nutrition, Home Economics and Administration. College interns with one or a combination of these disciplines are welcome to conduct their internship at FPFC to administer the concepts and methods learned in the classroom. High school interns gain hands-on experience and real world perspectives on career pathways that might interest them for future education and employment.
Please complete the online application via the link below. If you prefer, you may print the application and submit it in person to 8420 Gas House Pike, Suite EE or email it to us for review.
