This Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project will address deficiencies in existing pedestrian facilities within County maintained rights-of-way that were found to be non-compliant with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The work includes complete reconstruction of approximately 20 miles of sidewalk and repair or replacement of 2,218 curb ramps.
This ongoing 10-year program began in the 2015 fiscal year and is anticipated to end during the 2025 fiscal year (FY). FY25 Replacement and Repair of Sidewalk and ADA Ramps started in November 2024 and is anticipated to be completed May 2025.
