This Capital Improvement Program project is for replacement of the Brethren Church Road bridge over Catoctin Creek. The project will replace the existing eight-cell corrugated metal pipe culvert built in 1986, which is currently in poor condition. The roadway approaches will also be realigned for increased safety. The roadway across the culvert structure will include two 12-foot lanes with 2-foot shoulders, while the roadway approaches will include two 11-foot lanes with 2-foot shoulders.
The project is currently at the 60% design phase.
